My old bus driver called me out for being a 'door blocker' back in 2019
I used to stand right by the back doors on the 7:15 AM route, thinking I was being smart and ready to hop off. One morning, Frank, the driver I'd seen for years, looked right at me in his mirror and said, 'Kid, you're holding up the whole show. Move in.' I realized I was creating a total traffic jam because people couldn't get past me to the empty seats in the back. I felt like a real jerk. Now, I always walk all the way down the aisle, even if it means I have to squeeze back through later. It just makes the whole load-up process faster for everyone. Has anyone else had a simple habit they had to break to make the commute smoother?

Yeah, that's a solid move. I started doing the same thing after I saw how much faster the bus empties when people actually fill the back first. Makes you wonder why it's not just common sense.

It's like that grocery store express lane paradox.
