Missed my stop on the L because of a podcast, ended up in Brooklyn at 11pm
I was riding the L home to Bedford Ave after a late shift and got so into a podcast about old subway tunnels that I didn't hear the conductor say my stop. By the time I looked up I was 4 stops past my place near Union Square with no good way back until 5am. Does anyone have a system for not zoning out on long rides, or should I just set an alarm on my phone like a grandma?
