Hit exactly 10,000 miles on my bike commuting this morning

I crossed 10,000 miles going over a pothole on Broad Street in Philly around 7:15 AM. That's a lot of mornings smelling like exhaust and dodging doors. Has anyone else noticed their odometer flipping a big number and felt weirdly proud about it?

The "weirdly proud" part you mentioned is exactly it. I think we get so caught up in the daily grind that we forget to notice these little markers of commitment. Hitting a solid, clean number like 10,000 makes you stop and realize all those mornings added up to something real.

That's a big milestone for sure. 10k miles is no joke, especially on Philly streets. Smelling like exhaust is basically our city cologne at this point. The pride is real though, it's a weirdly satisfying number to hit.
