Saw a taper in Phoenix coat 4,000 sq ft of board without a single butt joint and it made me rethink my whole layout
I always figured butt joints were just part of the job until I stood in that hallway last month and watched his crew stagger every seam behind the lights, so now I'm wondering if anybody else has switched to running full sheets corner to corner and eating the waste instead of buying extra board for the joints.

Man, I've been eating waste on every job for years and didn't even know it was a strategy.
