I switched from tilt-up to CMU on a 40,000 sq ft warehouse in Tulsa and the schedule difference was not close
Everyone in my office pushes tilt-up for anything over 20,000 sq ft and I went with CMU on a 40,000 sq ft warehouse off Highway 169 in Tulsa. The block crew had walls up in 9 working days while the last tilt-up job I ran sat for 3 weeks waiting on crane availability. Tilt-up wins on cost per square foot but that rental window killed the savings. Anyone else getting squeezed by crane lead times and just eating the block premium instead?
