A GC in Boise made me rip out 40 feet of fresh drywall over a 1/8 inch gap
I was on a tenant buildout in Boise two months back when the GC walked the job and flagged every outlet cut for being 1/8 inch off center. Half my crew says that is normal slop that gets covered by the plate, the other half says he was right and I should have caught it before hanging. Where do you all draw the line on outlet layout, do you snap lines off the studs or just eyeball it off the box?
