Found the actual number of canceled comics in 1993 and it's crazy
I was digging through an old Wizard magazine archive and saw that Marvel canceled over 120 titles in 1993 alone during the speculator crash. Has anyone else looked into how many books got axed that year?

What about Image - how many did they axe that year too?

You mentioned Image Comics and I actually read a breakdown of their 2023 numbers not too long ago. They trimmed their monthly output by about 15 percent from the year before, which is a lot for a company that usually lets creators run wild. I remember seeing that titles like "Radiant Black" and "Saga" held steady, but a bunch of smaller miniseries just vanished without much notice. It seems like even Image is playing it safer now, pulling back on experimental one-shots that don't sell well. From what I gathered, they cancelled around 20 to 25 series total last year. That's a big shift for a publisher that built its name on taking chances.
