Was sure that $150 Denver sales tax seminar was a scam, walked out with a refund check
I signed up for a sales tax class in Denver last Thursday mostly because my bookkeeper kept bugging me about filing for my two coffee carts, and I figured $150 was gone money. Turns out the guy actually walked me through the city portal line by line and found I had overpaid about $900 over the past 14 months on the wrong rate. Any other owners in the Denver area get surprised by which sales tax rate actually applies to a mobile food setup?
