Shoutout to the 130 degree water at my aunt's place in Tucson that made me admit my whole brew setup was off
I'd been brewing with water straight off a rolling boil in my garage for almost 2 years and only figured out it was scorching the grounds when her cheap kettle and a $12 thermometer gave me a cup that finally didn't taste like burnt rubber, so now I'm wondering how many other guys are just guessing at temps out there.
