Cold brew concentrate changed my morning routine, here's how

I used to brew a fresh pot every single morning for a decade, but after taking a trip to Nashville last fall and seeing a shop make cold brew concentrate, I switched to making a big batch every Sunday and it tastes smoother and takes me 3 minutes to make my cup now, anyone else made the switch and never looked back?

...and honestly I don't get the hype. You're still making coffee, just less often and with more steps upfront. Sunday you're standing there filtering a gallon of water through cheesecloth for what, three minutes shaved off your Tuesday morning? That math never adds up for me. Plus cold brew tastes flat to me, all the bright notes get killed by the long steep. A hot pot takes four minutes and you get it fresh, hot, and actually tasting like the beans. But hey, if spending your weekend on coffee prep makes you feel like a Nashville barista, go for it.
