Shoutout to my $12 Melitta plastic cone for saving breakfast after my glass pour over cracked
Was rushing to brew at 6am in my tiny kitchen in Portland and knocked my glass V60 off the counter, watched it shatter into about 20 pieces on the tile. Grabbed the old plastic Melitta cone from the back of the cabinet, same grind, same 30 second bloom, and honestly the cup tasted just as good. Anyone else keep a cheap backup dripper around for exactly this kind of morning?
