Pro tip: a barista in Austin said to skip the gooseneck kettle and I finally tried it
She said my pour over was stalling because I was pouring too slow with the gooseneck, and that a plain spouted kettle at full speed gets better flow. Two weeks in with my V60 and the drawdown went from 4 minutes to about 2:30, way less bitterness. Has anyone else ditched the gooseneck after getting one?
