Watching the airport departures board in Denver made me think about how my first 'Hello World' program felt like a flight taking off.
It was just a simple script, but seeing that text appear on the screen for the first time gave me the same kind of lift-off feeling as watching a plane leave the gate, and I'm curious if other new coders have had a similar moment with their first project.

Wait, "new beginnings" have a lift-off feeling? Every time I've started something new, it feels more like dragging myself out of bed. Like starting a diet or a Monday. That's not lift-off, that's just dread with extra steps.
