That 20 minute scroll through lines of red text taught me patience
I was stuck on a simple Python script for my inventory tracker, kept getting a traceback that I skimmed past. Last Tuesday around 2am I decided to actually read the last line where it said 'IndexError: list index out of range' and realized my loop went one too far. I added a quick print statement to see the list length before the loop, and that showed I was starting at 1 instead of 0. Five minutes later it worked, and now I force myself to read every error before touching any code. Has anyone else had that moment where the fix was just slowing down and reading the full output?
