Spent 2 hours stuck on a missing semicolon in my first JavaScript calculator
Last Tuesday I was building a little calculator in JavaScript from a free tutorial and it kept showing NaN no matter what numbers I typed in. I checked my math functions three times and googled the error for like 40 minutes before I finally noticed I forgot a semicolon on line 14. My friend who codes for a living looked at it in 10 seconds and just pointed at the screen without saying anything. Ngl it was kind of embarrassing but also made me feel better knowing it's not just me. Does anyone else have a bug story that turned out to be something tiny?
