My uncle asked why I type 'let' 40 times a day and I couldn't explain it
He said 'just make a variable once, doesn't the computer remember it?' and honestly it made me realize I've been copying the same pattern from a tutorial in March without knowing why scope matters, so now I'm wondering which basic habit I picked up wrong that way.
Been there, and what helped me was going back and actually breaking my own code on purpose to see what happened. Like I'd move a variable outside the function and watch it blow up, then I finally got why the tutorial did it that way. Messing around and failing a few times taught me more than reading the same line over and over.
