My friend said learning to code was like learning to read a recipe...

We were just talking about her new baking hobby and she said 'you follow the steps, but you don't really get it until you mess up and have to fix it yourself.' That hit me because I've been stuck on a simple loop in Python for two days. It made me think maybe getting stuck is part of the process. Has anyone else had a moment where a totally different hobby made coding click?
