Spend the extra money on a quality machined aluminum holder from a known brand, not some stamped steel junk. I've seen those cheap holders flex under load and let a $1500 dial indicator drop right onto a part, chipping the carbide tip. Check the clamping mechanism too - a single thumbscrew setup will wobble no matter how tight you crank it. Look for one with a dovetail clamp or at least two independent locking points. Saves you from that sick feeling when you hear the crunch.

Yeah totally agree with @burns.richard on this one. The dovetail clamp is a game changer, had a cheap magnetic base let go once and watched a $200 indicator bounce across the floor, never again.
