The difference in my shop floor after we got a new coolant filter
Two weeks ago, the whole place had that greasy film on everything and the floor was slick. We put in that big Cyclone unit on Tuesday. Now, the floor by the lathes is actually dry to walk on and the air doesn't smell like a wet dog. The boss said it was a waste of money at first. Has anyone else seen a change that fast from just one piece of gear?

No kidding, right? My old boss was the same way, always fighting every upgrade until it was done. Then he'd walk around acting like it was his idea all along. Bet yours is already telling visitors about his "state of the art filtration system" and how it boosts morale. The dry floor is a miracle, but that sudden managerial amnesia is the real show.

Tell me about it. My last shop fought a new dust collector for months. The week after it went in, the foreman was giving tours like he invented clean air.
