Carbide end mill chatter surprised me on aluminum
Switched to a 4 flute carbide end mill on our Haas at the shop in Phoenix last Friday. It chattered worse than the old HSS 2 flute on the same 6061 part. Did I run it too shallow or is the tool holder the real issue here?
