Swapped my gas lawn mower for an electric reel mower six months ago

Gave up on the gas mower after it died mid-cut on a Saturday. Neighbor let me try his manual reel mower and I figured why not. Cuts quieter, no gas smell, and my yard looks just as clean. Plus the $40 a season in gas and oil is gone. Anyone else ditch gas tools and find it actually works better?

What exactly happened with his social life after that? Did people stop reaching out completely, or did the quality of the hangouts actually go up? I'm trying to picture it because I've heard a few people say they felt like they were just a backup plan for everyone else's boredom before they cleaned house. Like suddenly all those "hey you free tonight?" texts dried up and it was just him and a couple real friends showing up for actual plans. Was that his experience or did it take a different turn
