Customer asked me to sweep their chimney while they were mid-zoom call

Last Tuesday in Portland this lady kept waving at me through the window while I was on her roof, then came out after and said she thought I was her yoga instructor arriving early. Has anyone else had a client completely forget they hired you mid-job?

Hold on, I think you got the wrong guy, gray_roberts said the yoga thing, not her mixing up a plumber. She probably just saw a person on the roof and her brain went to the nearest appointment.

Thing is, a yoga instructor showing up on their roof would be a lot weirder than a plumber. Maybe cut her some slack, people get tunnel vision during those calls. Sounds like she was polite about the mix up at least. Worked a few jobs where the homeowner straight up forgot to pay me, so getting mistaken for a yoga guy doesn't sound all bad.
