Found my old box of LEGO bricks and counted them

There were exactly 1,847 pieces. I sat down to build something and realized the fun isn't in finishing a set, it's just in the clicking sound and the feel of the bricks. Anyone else find the process more satisfying now than the final product?

You know, I used to be all about following the instructions to the letter. What changed for you? For me, it was building with my nephew and just making a weird tower. The sound and the feel of finding the right piece is the whole point now.

Totally get that! My little cousin got me into just dumping the whole box out and seeing what we could make. That click when pieces fit is so good, right? What's the weirdest thing you've built?
