Got slammed with 14 walk-ins on a Tuesday and the dishwasher quit mid-shift
Last Tuesday we had 14 walk-ins show up at once because a wedding nearby got rained out, and our only dishwasher walked out at 7pm over a broken rack. I ended up running the pit myself between plating 60 covers and burned my forearm on the sanitizer hose at least twice. What's your go-to move when you lose your dish guy right in the middle of a rush?
