Hot take: That 80 degree Saturday last week was actually the worst day of the year so far
I was stuck in line at the grocery store for 25 minutes because everyone and their mom decided to buy stuff for cookouts. Three registers open, the self checkout had a jam, and this lady in front of me had three coupons that each needed a manager override. The A/C in the store kept cutting in and out too. I get that people love the nice weather but why does everyone flock to the store at the same time? Has anyone else had a perfect weather day ruined by long checkout lines?

my buddy waited 45 minutes at Home Depot for one register and left without buying anything.

Kroger on Grant Road last Saturday, I timed it. 18 minutes from the time I got in line to the time I paid. Two people working the registers and one was getting trained. The trainer kept having to stop to fix something on the screen. I started going at 7am now on nice Saturdays. The store is dead and the stock is fresh. You miss a little sleep but it beats that mid-day panic. Plus the deli counter actually has stuff cut and ready. Seriously try it once and youll never go back to the afternoon rush.
