A woman in line at the grocery store in Springfield told me she always buys the dented cans because 'someone has to give them a home'.
It happened last Tuesday at the Price Chopper on Main Street, and I've been thinking about that simple kindness ever since.

What are we talking about, leaving food out? Yeah, that's a big one. If it's something like mayo or chicken, you gotta get it in the fridge within two hours, one hour if it's real hot in your kitchen. I've seen people get real sick from ignoring that.
