Vent: my $4 banh mi spot raised prices to $9.50 and now I can't decide if it's still a cheap eat

Found out last week at the place on Bellaire in Houston, the one with the plastic stools, that their combo banh mi jumped from $4 to $9.50 in a year. Is under ten bucks still the line, or should we count anything that used to be cheap? Where do you all draw it?
