The $3 dumpling spot on Canal Street raised prices and I almost walked out
Went to my usual spot in Chinatown on Tuesday and the pork dumplings jumped from $3 to $5.50, which still beats everywhere else but stung. I bought two orders anyway and the guy behind the counter threw in extra chili oil when I joked about it. Anyone found a cheaper dumpling hookup nearby that hasn't moved their prices yet?

Try paying $8 for the same dumplings in midtown before calling this a crisis.
