Every taco truck in my city puts the salsa on wrong and only one guy gets it
I eat at about four taco trucks a week and I started keeping a note on my phone about it. The problem is they all dump salsa right on top of the meat, so by the time you get to the bottom, the tortilla is a wet mess and the last two bites taste like nothing but watered down salsa. This one truck off Exit 12 in my town does it different: they give you the salsa on the side in a little 2 oz cup for free, and you add it yourself. Sounds small but the difference is real. I've been hitting that spot for seven months now and I still get a full flavor taco at the end every single time. Why is side salsa not the normal thing everywhere, has anyone else found a spot that does this?
