The barista who made me admit I was wrong about iced coffee
I spent 5 years telling anyone who'd listen that iced coffee was just watered down hot coffee, and I refused to try it at any shop in Portland. Last Tuesday, a barista at Public Domain Coffee handed me a free sample of their cold brew and said, "taste it before you judge it, that's what I tell my kids about broccoli." One sip later, I realized I'd been missing out on something genuinely good, so my question is: what food or drink did you hate for years until someone finally got you to try it the right way?
