Spent $80 on skip tracing a list of 400 names from a courthouse printout and it paid for itself 12 times over
I pulled a list of absentee owners from the county assessor in Ohio about 5 weeks ago. It cost me $80 to skip trace all 400 names through a cheap service. I mailed 150 postcards to the ones with out of state addresses. Got 9 calls and finally closed one deal last Thursday. My cut after the wholesaler took his part was $960. The other 8 calls turned out to be nothing or just people wanting retail price. But that one check covered the postage, the list, and the skip trace with room left for lunch. Anyone else running lists this small or do you all go straight for the 5000 count batches?
