Had a cash buyer offer $10k under asking while standing in my living room holding a crumpled check

Guy showed up in a stained polo, pointed at a crack in the drywall, and said 'this is a negotiable eye sore.' Has anyone else had a buyer try to haggle in person mid walkthrough?

Oh man, that is absolutely wild! I had a guy show up to look at my old place and he literally pulled a lint roller out of his pocket and started going over the couch cushions before making an offer. He kept saying 'the dust is really telling' like it was some kind of crime scene. And then he tried to knock $5k off because the bathroom sink had a water stain he claimed was 'permanent damage.' I just stared at him and said the price is the price. People get so bold when they're standing in your space holding a check.

People really do act like they're inspecting a crime scene just to get a deal lol. That lint roller thing is next level though, but a water stain is hardly "permanent damage" unless the house is actively flooding. Honestly, buyers just need to chill sometimes, it's not that deep.
