That week in 2019 when everything went right for a change
I had a job in Tacoma last September where the customer had a 12x18 living room and a 10x12 bedroom. The pad was already laid perfect, the seams matched up clean on the first try, and I finished both rooms in under 6 hours. Have you ever had a day where nothing fought back?

Oh wow, I bet that pad was old-growth carpet pad from a remodel (they don't make them like that anymore).

@elizabeth_bailey26 you're probably right about that old pad. If you ever run into that kind of dense stuff again, spraying it down with water before hauling it out cuts down on dust and makes it way easier to handle. I've had to deal with that exact mess before and it's a pain but totally manageable.
