Hit 500 square feet of carpet laid in one day for the first time

Man I used to think carpet was just carpet and anyone could lay it down no problem. Then I helped a buddy do his basement last year and it was a total nightmare. That 500 number hits different when you actually realize how much cutting and stretching and seam rolling goes into it. My back was wrecked for two days after just helping with like 200 feet lol. So yeah, I completely changed my mind on how much skill and physical work is really involved in this job.
