Rant: I used to think a 4-inch grinder was fine for everything, but a 7-inch changed the game

I mean, I fought with my old 4-inch for years on deck jobs, especially cutting off old lag bolts and grinding down high spots. It just took forever and overheated all the time. Last month I finally got a 7-inch model for a big composite deck tear-down, and the difference is crazy. The bigger wheel doesn't bog down, and I cut through a 6x6 post in like 30 seconds flat. I wasted so much time before. Has anyone else made a switch like that and been kinda mad at their old self?

That's a huge jump in size, lol. Did you find the 7-inch way harder to handle on overhead cuts or when you're working on a ladder? I'd be worried about the extra weight throwing me off.

Yeah, @ellis.ben, you get used to the weight fast.
