Three years of saying no to moving teams, one conversation in Chicago flipped me

I've been in the same accounts payable role at a logistics firm since 2021, always turned down internal transfer offers because I figured the devil I knew was better. Last week my old manager from the Columbus office called me out of the blue and talked about how her team does revenue forecasting now, not just data entry, and she showed me a quick sample report. I realized I wasn't scared of the work, I was scared of learning a new system at 41. Has anyone else hit a wall like that and taken the jump anyway, or did you regret leaving a comfortable spot?
