I was sure paying for a resume writer was a waste of money

I dropped about $300 on a professional resume writer after getting no calls for months. She completely rewrote my experience from a project manager angle, using numbers I hadn't thought to include. I got three interview requests in the two weeks after I started using it. Has anyone else had a good or bad experience with a paid resume service?
