PSA: I stopped meeting drivers at random lots and started using terminal to terminal, saved $340 on my last move
I used to book door to door shipping every time I moved and always ended up waiting around all day for a driver who showed up 5 hours late. Six months ago I switched to terminal to terminal after a dispatcher in Ohio talked me into it, and now I just drop the car off and pick it up myself. My last move from Denver to Kansas City cost $340 less and the car was ready when they said it would be. The 25 minute drive to the terminal is annoying but way better than sitting by my phone all day. Has anyone else made this switch, or do you stick with door to door for a reason I'm missing?
