Update: I watched every Hannibal episode in the wrong order for 8 weeks
I thought the show was cut short at 3 seasons because it was too weird, but a coworker in Denver asked me why Will was suddenly in jail, and I had to admit I had been watching them shuffled on my DVR. Did anyone else mess up a binge so bad that it made a cancellation feel personal?

Watching Hannibal shuffled is basically just Will's actual mental state, so fair enough.
