I finally aired out my tent after a wet trip

It took forever to dry completely. Is patience part of camping, or should gear be more efficient?

Honestly, patience is huge with camping, but gear design matters too. My old tent would hold moisture for days, but the new one with mesh panels dries way faster. Tbh, if you're camping in damp places, looking for breathable materials is key. It still takes time, just less of it.

Yeah, those mesh panels make a big difference. I had a tent without mesh, and it would stay wet for ages after rain. Now I always look for two-part tents where the inner mesh is separate from the outer cover. That way, air can move through and dry things out way faster.
