No more guessing with SLR mirror alignment

A laser pointer and graph paper give you a spot-on guide. It saves a ton of hassle on those pesky vintage cameras.

Steve's Pentax needed that laser fix, thanks to @ray816.

Genius. That's such a smart way to get it exact instead of just eyeballing it. I've messed with shims before and it's always a huge pain. Pure relief for anyone fixing up an old camera.

Seriously, that laser trick is a game changer. I was fighting with a Pentax K1000 for weeks, getting soft focus on one side of the frame. Lined up the laser on graph paper and found the mirror was off by a full degree. A couple careful taps with a spudger and it was perfect. Why did I ever try to do that by sight?
