Why does nobody talk about the cabinet place on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie closing after 40 years?

I drove past it last Thursday and the windows were papered up with a handwritten sign saying thanks for 40 years. I stopped in maybe 3 times over the years and the owner always showed me how he hand cut his dovetails on a bench he built himself back in the 80s. What got me was the display cabinets out front, solid maple, still sitting there with price tags from 1998 on them. Makes me wonder how many of us are one lease hike away from the same thing. Anybody else see their local supply or millwork spot shut down lately?
