The soft-close hinge on a $900 drawer front gave up after 3 weeks
I installed a full set of soft-close undermount slides on a kitchen job in Kalamazoo back in March, and the homeowner called me last week because one drawer on a 30-inch base started slamming shut, so I swapped the slide and found the cabinet side was out of square by about 3/16 which was putting a bind on the runner, and now I'm wondering if any of you check square on the box before you hang slides or do you just trust the case goods to come true?
