The $40 outlet store hinge lot that wrecked my Saturday in Nashville
Picked up 200 of those discount soft-close hinges for a build, three of them snapped at the pin during install and I had to tear out one whole door unit to swap it, has anyone else had luck with bulk hinge deals or should I just pay full price from now on?

Three bad out of 200 sounds like a rough luck sample, not a reason to ditch the whole lot. I'd take those odds again before paying retail for the same hardware.
