I built my 500th raised panel door last week and it hit me weird
I was cleaning up my shop in Grand Rapids after finishing a set of oak doors for a kitchen job and happened to count the ones stacked on the rack, and the number came out to 500 doors since I started this gig. Twenty years ago I was ripping pine on a borrowed table saw in a rickety garage, and now I have a shaper and a story for nearly every door on that rack. Does hitting a number like that make anyone else get a little in their head about how many more you got left in you?
