Unpopular opinion: counting tasks in my bujo made me get less done, so I quit
For 8 months I tracked 15 tasks a day and finished maybe 5, because a full page just made me feel behind before I even started. Now I write 3 things max each morning and I actually finish them, has anyone else had a planner setup backfire like that?
How long did it take you to figure out that 15 was the problem and not just you being lazy that month? I ask because I did something similar with my habit tracker, filled in every single box for like 30 days and then quit cold turkey when I missed two in a row. The weird part is I felt way more guilt about those empty boxes than I ever did about the actual stuff I wasn't getting done. Did dropping down to 3 feel like you were cheating at first, or was it a relief right away?
