You ever had one of those ones you almost fixed up just to be clean, but then stopped yourself for that exact reason? I used to be all about making stuff look factory fresh, especially on my old truck. Then I saw a friend's work van with dents and scratches from 15 years of jobs, and it just hit me how much history is in those marks. It's way better than some sterile rebuild that hides all the stories. Definitely changed my mind on that.
