Debate: Should a daily log be minimal or detailed? I spent 3 hours overthinking it

I spent a whole Saturday tweaking my daily log layout-trying to balance quick notes vs full entries. Minimal seems faster but I miss details later, while detailed takes forever but feels thorough. What's your take on finding that sweet spot for daily logs?
