Started a $50 cash envelope for fun money and it kept me from touching my debit card for 23 days
I kept blowing my budget on small stuff like coffee and app purchases because swiping a card never felt like real money leaving my pocket. So I pulled $50 in cash out on a Monday, stuck it in an envelope labeled "fun money," and once it was empty that was it until the next month. Has anyone else tried cash envelopes for just one category instead of their whole budget, and did it actually stick after the first month or two?
