Man, that takes me back... got a ride from a guy who only played bagpipe covers of pop songs the whole way to Cleveland. Couldn't even hear myself think over the drone. Almost ended up at a Scottish festival because he was on his way to "warm up" for it. Free travel really does come with some weird strings attached sometimes.

Sounds like you paid for that free ride with your sanity. Bagpipe covers of pop songs is a special kind of road trip torture. At least you didn't have to pay for the festival ticket too.
